Chilly temps and snowflakes did not stop BeECo’s first volunteer day. Members of the Bethlehem Environmental Club and some hearty community members spent an afternoon clearing trash, debris, vines and tree branches in preparation for the hillside trail and kiosk as part of the Albany County Legislature Award.

Our first volunteer day is scheduled for 11/23 from 1-3pm.

We will be clearing wooded areas in preparation of the grant funded hillside pocket garden and kiosk/sign, which will be installed in the spring.  In these areas there is a variety of debris such as old fencing, trash, tires, fallen branches, etc. 

Please bring your own gloves/ tools that will assist in the effort. 

Keep in mind that this is debris, it could have sharp edges or rust. Gloves are advised.
