Volunteer Clean-up

Our first volunteer days are scheduled for 11/22 and 11/23 at 1- 3pm

It is going to be a low-key event. We hope you come join in for the time you are able. We are beginning to build our community of volunteers and getting jump start for the spring.

Specifically, we will be clearing wooded areas in preparation of the grant funded hillside pocket garden and kiosk/sign, which will be installed in the spring.

In these areas there is a variety of debris such as old fencing, trash, tires, fallen branches, etc.  Some debris (old buckets/tires) will need to be pried free from the ground.  Invasive vines need to be cut back.  There is some metal and glass that can be collected and recycled separately.  Limbs, branches, etc will be stacked for removal at a later date.

Please bring your own gloves/ tools that will assist in the effort.

Keep in mind that this is debris, it could have sharp edges or rust. Gloves are advised.
