BeECO is pleased to host an engaging, all-ages educational event.

The Mohican Homelands Education Initiative is a Tribal–College partnership between Williams College and the Stockbridge-Munsee Community. This program will bring Indigenous knowledge to life through an interactive, place-based presentation on land stewardship, traditional foodways and healing practices. Weather permitting, participants will visit the native plant garden outside town hall and observe the ceremonial offering of tobacco, as part of the Mohican tradition.

Open to learners of all ages, this event is a unique opportunity to engage directly with Indigenous knowledge and creativity. It connects people, place, and tradition in a hands-on, inspiring setting.
