Volunteer Opportunity for People with Construction Skills

We are looking for a few volunteers with construction skills to help build a new trail kiosk. This is a great opportunity to put your skills to work on a project that will welcome visitors and trail walkers to BeECO, a new community space on local Bethlehem farmland.

A Mohawk Hudson Land Conservancy volunteer will be onsite to guide the project, so you will have support throughout the build. If you have experience with tools, carpentry, or general construction, your help would be especially valuable.

We are tentatively planning for a small group work day in likely daytime on a week day in mid may and final assembly on May 29 & 30. Fairly tall and fairly strong people would be helpful for lifting the roof or the kiosk onto the post.

Please consider lending your skills and time to this hands on project.
