Bat & Pollinator Garden

Georgia DiRamio of Scout Troupe 1075 led her team in completing this environmentally friendly Eagle Scout project, a native bat and pollinator garden. The project brings together habitat creation, community effort, and native plantings to support wildlife and benefit the surrounding area as the garden establishes and matures.

The native plants, generously provided by our friends at Home Earth Alliance Imagine Native Plant Farm, are well suited to the local environment and will thrive as they become established. By planting native species, the project creates valuable habitat for bats, pollinators, birds, and other wildlife while demonstrating thoughtful stewardship of the land and support for vulnerable species.

This project was made possible with the generous support of the Bethlehem Garden Club, whose commitment to community beautification and environmental education helped bring this vision to life.

Located in a highly visible area of the farm, the new garden will be enjoyed by community members passing by the property as well as visitors traveling the Route 9W corridor. It serves as a welcoming landscape feature while also highlighting the importance of native plants, conservation, and community partnerships in protecting our local ecosystems.
